On your PC, open up your McAfee software.

On the McAfee home screen select the tab PC Security. Then press the Protect me on the web button, which has a blue lock icon. A menu will appear. Under the heading PC security, find McAfee WebAdvisor and press On. You will then be guided to install/ reinstall WebAdvisor.
Next, if your browser is Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Microsoft Edge Legacy, McAfee will offer to install WebAdvisor onto your browser for you. Just press the red button containing the name of your browser; Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Microsoft Edge Legacy.
If Chome is your browser, you need to install WebAdvisor yourself. Open up your Chrome browser and select the last icon to the left of the adress bar, which is three dots in a vertical line. A menu will open. Scroll down to Settings. A new Settings tab will open. On the left hand of the page, go to Extensions and then you should see a pannel for McAfee WebAdvisor. In the bottom right corner there is an on/off toggle - switch this on.
